Nestled in the heart of Collegedale, Tennessee, Little Debbie Park offers a sweet escape for families and nature enthusiasts. Just a short drive from downtown Chattanooga, this unique community green space blends fun, education, and nostalgia with a sugary twist. Whether you're planning a day out with the kids or looking for a serene spot to unwind, here's your guide to making the most of your visit to Little Debbie Park.

Climb and Play on Giant Snack Cakes

Little Debbie Park Chattanooga was designed to be inclusive for children of all physical and cognitive abilities. One of the key highlights is its larger-than-life sculptures of iconic Little Debbie treats, including a six-foot-tall selfie-friendly Christmas Tree Cake sculpture, adorned with red swirls of "icing" and green "sprinkles." Among these sculptures, the bronze statue of the mascot, Little Debbie, was created by local artist Alex Paul Loza. Kids and adults can climb up, sit on, and scale the oversized sculptures like the huge Oatmeal Creme Pie or a stack of Nutty Buddy Bars. There’s also a fantasy-sized Cosmic Brownies climbing wall with colorful candy pieces as footholds.

Walk the Trails and Green Spaces

Spread across a 10-acre plot planted with 400 trees and 5,000 shrubs, the park features ziplines and spider webs with paved trails ideal for walking, jogging, or simply soaking in the natural surroundings. It’s also easily accessible to another local playground favorite, Imagination Station, as well as Collegedale's Greenway and Veterans Memorial Park. The park's design prioritizes open green spaces, ensuring plenty of room for picnics, games, and relaxing in the shade.

Learn More About the History of Little Debbie

Informational placards throughout the park share the rich history of McKee Foods and its contribution to the local community, detailing its humble beginnings in the 1930s to become a beloved national brand. There’s also a life-sized bronze sculpture of Little Debbie herself, based on a photograph of young Debbie McKee serving samples of Swiss Rolls.
